IMPORTANT UPDATE ON THE HALLOWEEN SHOW.
2009 Will be the LAST YEAR for the Halloween light show. Quite simply there is just not enough traffic to justify the effort. The light show is not JUST for entertainment. It is about raising donations for our Christmas for Kids Program. The donation box only provided about $50.00 over the last 3 years or the Halloween show. I think there were maybe 20 cars this year.
All in all we dedicate about 6-8 weeks to the Halloween show including sequencing, maintenance, setting up, tearing down and the actual show. That time could be better spent dedicating our efforts to the BIG SHOW at Christmas.
We would like to thank everyone who took time out of their schedule to stop by and see the show. And of course for the donations that were given. We will probably put out decorations next year for Halloween, but there will not be a Halloween show.
IMPORTANT UPDATE ON THE GRINCHES
One of the "Grinch" families has moved out of the neighborhood. HOOORAYYY!!
My only hope is the parents start teaching their kids some respect and responsibility instead of encouraging destroying other peoples property and using them as tools to aggravate people. Maybe the kids will even learn it on their own.
