OUR MISSION STATEMENT
At our home, my wife Stella and I are the proud parents of 5 girls and the even PROUDER Grand Parents of 9 beautiful grandchildren. Seeing the excitement on their faces or hearing the squeal of their voices as they open presents over the phone means everything to us. We believe that NO GOOD CHILD should go without the joy of Christmas and opening presents. It is for that reason that we decided to take our charitable donations to the next level.
We have therefore created "Planet Monkman Christmas for Kids" to help make sure as many needy children as possible have presents under the tree on Christmas morning. There are so many families out there that simply cannot afford to buy presents or as many as they would like. Especially now, at the time this page was created, with the economic downturn, is it most important.
That is where our Christmas for Kids Program comes into play. Nothing would make us happier than to know that we have touched the heart of a special child out there by simply getting them something that they want. It is our goal to help as many kids as possible. The light show itself brings joy to both adults and children. We see it on hundreds if not thousands of faces every year as they drive by the house or stand out front. However, it is the children that we focus our charitable efforts on. They are special in that they are only going to have this thrill for a short time in their lives and the memories we can help instill are priceless and irreplaceable.
